DEECRACKS (A)
DeeCRACKS feierten 2023 ihr 20jähriges Jubiläum und können dabei auf eine lange und ereignisreiche Historie zurückblicken. Im Jahre 2003 sind sie als The Cretins gestartet, und mussten auf Grund eines Rechtsstreits mit der deutschen Band The Creetins Ende 2007 ihren Namen ändern. Doch das stoppte die drei Musiker überhaupt nicht, DeeCRACKS waren geboren und ihr highspeed ramonesk Punkrock überzog die gesamte Punkrockwelt.
Über 800 Shows von Japan, China und Russland bis nach Mexiko, Kanada und den USA, 6 LPs, viele EPs, 7“s, Splits und sogar Best-Ofs, auf internationalen Labeln, 11 Bassisten und unzählige verrückte Tourgeschichten – Österreich’s traditionelles Punkrock Aushängeschild DeeCRACKS sind Arbeitstiere und unaufhaltsam dabei, ihre Vision vom Rock’n’Roll zu verbreiten.
Sie tourten mit Bands wie NOFX, Bad Religion, Descendents, Teenage Bottlerocket, CJ Ramone, No Use For A Name, the Bronx, the Dictators, the Vibrators, Radio Birdman, the Dwarves, the Queers, Chixdiggit!, The Hanson Brothers, und vielen weiteren. Darüber hinaus sind DeeCRACKS als eine von nur wenigen europäischen Bands auf dem renommierten US Label Pirates Press Records zu finden und sind somit Label Kollegen von Größen wie Rancid, Cock Sparrer oder Bouncing Souls.
2024 veröffentlichten die DeeCracks das Ramones Album “Brain drain” mit Andrea Manges am Gesang.
