The Let’s Go’s (JPN)

This three-person, all-female band was founded by COCO (guitar and vocals) in Tokyo in 2006. Punk and rock ‘n’ roll from the 1970s and 1980s are the focus of their music, conjuring up a wonderfully colorful and catchy garage-pop-punk sound. After several member changes, the lineup is complete, with MARIKO MARIKO (since 2018) on drums and MANAMI on bass (since 2022).
And THE LET’S GO’s are full of joy live, too. This group could just as easily be the descendants of bands like the MC5, The Stooges, Refused, At The Drive-In, The Runaways, The Ramones, or The Donnas. With their uninhibited dance moves, brutal guitar choking and powerful live energy, they play in the same league as the bands mentioned above.
