After almost 10 years of silence DER DICKE POLIZIST finally returns to the stage in 2026 – noisier, more determined and more relevant than ever. Over the course of 30 years with hundreds of concerts in Germany and abroad they have always represented uncompromising punk rock without platitudes, their texts full of anger, but never banal. Their songs have proven to be more than mere slogans – they’ve been an attitude, clever analysis and pure energy, all in one. And now? The world has changed and has maybe become even more broken. Yet DER DICKE POLIZIST are far from having uttered their last words. They are older, but not tamer. They have matured without forgetting their roots. Today they may very well be at their best, while their songs are more timely than ever. 2026 will be the year that DER DICKE POLIZIST will prove that they’ve never been dead – they’ve merely taken a deep breath.
